Care
  • Spot clean Sancta Jerusalem’s lace with a cool, barely damp cloth, working around the Virgin Mary and Child Jesus embroidery and Jerusalem lettering. Test coloured areas first.
  • Support its fuller drape across both hands when lifting or folding. Do not let the larger lace panel drag or pull against a pin.
  • If damp, spread the whole veil flat on a clean towel in the shade. Do not wring, soak, bleach, machine wash, tumble dry or iron directly over the motif.
  • Remove pins and fold Sancta loosely around the devotional image, making sure all of the lace is dry before storing it in a pouch.
